AeroEdge® Protects the Roof
In addition to providing the same waterproofing as regular roof edging, AeroEdge® actually protects the roof by reducing damaging wind turbulence and their fluctuating uplift forces. The patented aerodynamic design has been proven to reduce both the magnitude of peak uplift forces and the 'cyclical' range of forces that can gradually shorten the life expectancy of roofing materials (i.e. shingles, built-up, etc.).
AeroEdge® is pre-fabricated in convenient lengths and easy to install. AeroEdge® fascia, coping and roof edging, use the same pre-fabricated retainer, connection and waterproofing as other pre-fab assemblies. This insures that installation costs will be essentially no different than other pre-fabricated flat fascia of similar height.
Attractive, Customizable & Specification Ready
AeroEdge® comes in an assortment of kynar finishes from our manufacturing partner Hickman Engineered Systems. AeroEdge® configurations are also customizable and available for a wide rand of fascia, coping and roof edging.
Building Department Tested & Approved
AeroEdge® curved fascia cap, is certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL™) for compliance with ANSI/SPRI ES-1 "Wind Design Standard for Edge Systems Used with Low Slope Roof Systems" as required by the International Building Code (IBC). AeroEdge curved fascia has also been issued a Notice of Acceptance (NOA) by Miami-Dade County and has a product approval from the Florida Building Code (FBC).
Compare AeroEdge® to any other rated fascia, coping or roof edging
AeroEdge® building department approved ratings range from 512 psf to 662 psf and are backed by the manufacturer’s Special 25-Year Category5SM performance warranty of up to 155 mph winds. AeroEdge® is the only roof edging proven to protect roofing by reducing maximum uplift forces by 50%.
